We moved to Penoffa Farm in 2020. Since then we have developed a small flock of native sheep which are suited to living in the Welsh countryside. As an organic farm our native sheep breeds help maintain the biodiversity and preserve the ecological balances of nature enhancing soil fertility and thus carbon capture.

There are many native sheep breeds at danger of extinction, and we keep some of these breeds: Lincoln Longwool, Hill Radnor and the Shetland.

Meet the Sheep will help you to appreciate the calming value of sheep and allow you to understand a little of their individuality and complexity.
