If you are using a postcode in a satnav, it might guide you to the wrong side of the Beggar’s Bush crossroads. At the crossroads, you should take the lane to ‘Thorn’. This lane goes up hill to the left of the large green house. See Google image on this page ‘The crossroads at Beggar’s Bush . . .’

Continue up this road for half a mile. As you drive up the hill, do not follow satnav directions by turning left down an unmade track towards a house called Oaklands. See Google image titled ‘Keep straight on . . .’

You must continue uphill until you reach the brow of the hill where you will see a tarmac drive on the right and on the gate it says, on a slate slab: Penoffa Farm.

You will know it is the right driveway because there is an old wooden lodge owned by a farmer on the corner of this driveway and then our two wooden holiday lodges up the drive on the right. The left hand side is an open field. See Google image ‘Turn right at the wooden lodge . . .’
