Meet The Sheep

Family Orientated Experience

Session focus: education and sensory

Half Term Special!

2 adults and 2 children for £30

Our aim is to encourage children to directly interact with our sheep and in doing so, learn about nature and the environment. Animal interaction supports child development of connection, empathy and caring through the physicality of what they see, hear, smell, and touch

(‘The influence of animals on the development of children.’ Endberg and Van Lith, 2011. The Veterinary Journal.
Vol 190 issue 2)

Children will be able to stroke and cuddle the sheep, learning responsible and empathetic ways to interact with these animals. In addition, there will be an opportunity to learn about sheep anatomy and biodiversity using charts and physical identification.

Family Orientated experience (one hour): Two adults and two children from one family: £30. Extra children £5 each
